hi all,can anyone tell me of a good web site that has idies of cheap ways of doig up a troopy to go round oz i.e make showers , tips on setting up mechanicle etc.

Toyota have droped the price by over 40% for a brand new factory turbo desie to only $6500 thats cheaper than a good rebuild.

Hi Gunzo, where did you read/hear about this? I was talking to Frankston Toyota today and they didn't know anything about it.
I would appriciatre you pointing me in the right direction to find out some more info.
Sounds like a bloody good price.

We have a Troopy that we bought that had already been convered by Safari Campers into a pop-top. Great conversion. You may be able to do a lot of the work yourself once the roof has been done. Their web site is

In our minds, the perfect vehicle for the "Big" trip which is why we bought it. We also use it for easy/medium club runs so is truely multi-purpose unlike the Hi-top conversions.
