I'm heading east next week, will be in
Norseman overnight then wondering whether to stay at the Border Village or push on to the Nullabor Roadhouse.
Will have a van in tow + Mrs + kids.
Any thoughts or suggestions?? or makes no difference??
cheers

Andrew
There are plenty of
free camping sites as you cross the Nullarbor if thats what you want to do, and there is nearly always other vans/motor homes about.
Have a good trip.
Cheers

we don't have any dunny amenities on board...and travelling with 3 women...I'm being 'pressured' into the more amenity friendly stops!!! :-)

Hi Andrew
I would stay at
Eucla. only about 13 kms west of Border Village. Also fuel was 16 cents per litre cheaper at
Eucla compared to Border Village in August.
Cheers

Another vote for
Eucla C/P. and also the fuel price. but better to stop at Border Village if wanting a cabin.
Cheers Des.

Yep,
Eucla.
Also the amenities are good with desal
water, a rare thing out there. Also great
views from the CP.
I recall fuel price is the same as
Mundrabilla, both the cheapest out there till
Nundroo.
cheers, Gerry

A few years ago we did
Norseman to
Nullarbor roadhouse comfortably in a day. October, so days were shorter. Left at sunrise had a little bit of a look at a couple of things but essentially kept moving and got to Nullarbor about sunset. Looked up sunrise & sunset times to be able to plan times. 2 drivers in 2 hour shifts. 4 kids on board so had to have a few breaks. Nullarbor to
Adelaide the next day was a long day though.
