We have a new Pajero and had a bar fitted by dealer.

The bar comes with its own fitted harness that plugs into vehicle harness.

All 7 colours are attached in the plug...paperwork states #2 Black being for reverse /aux power not connected thats cool. #5 Blue Electric Brakes..Device Specific.

My question is does anyone know if the blue is available under the dash somewhere?

Thank you for your thoughts.

Just guessing but when you buy your brake controller it might have a harness to plug straight in under your dash.

So thinking there will be a conector there somewhere.

Go to the Pajero Club of Victoria web site there is an assistant new car manager at Knox Mitsubishi who knows all about the MMAL tow harness. He reckons there the best around. I am sure he will explain all. His name is Marty.

You need a brake controller Hooking the blue up to power will lock the brakes on solid.

Take it to an expert or go on the Forum suggested.

Pin 2 black is usually for the Fridge or battery charging in a van

However the wire in the loom is nowhere near heavy enough for either and

therefore a heavy feed like 6 B & S to an Anderson plug is required.

Dont know about your vehicle but most require extra wiring from the controller to the rear.

Toyotas have tow pack wiring but I ran twin 6 mm straight to the connector from the loom on the controller.

Guaranteed lesser voltage drop than through additional connectors.
