transfer oil leak

hey guys was wondering if any one knows if theres just the three bolts holding the transfer case to the gear box on a 78 series cruiser? i think the input seal to the transfer might be bugerd and i need to take the transfer case of the box

sorry meant "may not have to take it out" ............. not sure what box is in yours but you can get a hose that fits in the filler holes and transfers the oil back from the transfer to the gear box as it leaks through, have one on mine even though it was not leaking past it is a "just in case" .......

Hey Hicksy, from memory there are 12 /14 bolts holding the transfer case to the G/box, what I do know is it is easier to take the box out and fix it than to do it in house, how do I know this I have done it both ways.
