Been looking around for camper trailers.

Sighted one at "Ezy Trail'. Seems ok but having little experience in this area looking for advice.

Is there a better option?

Thank you. I have read the article and it was helpful, however, looking for anyone who has first hand experience with them. Have looked at the overall trailers and found that little details are a bit shabby. (ie: on the battery/water holders there are bolt heads that stick out and as a result internally bolt length is excessive)

I maybe a bit picky but want to do it right.

Cheers

Also look at the campertrailers.org website and associated Yahoo group.

You know you can go straight to other sources by using Google advanced search?

Just type "brand name" in the phrase field, camper trailer above that field, and in the results window you sometimes need to limit the pages to Australia.

Anyway, here are some user reports:

Sounds like from those this is a unit you are likely to have to work on. No drama if you've got the budget and skills and are prepared to.

Key questions for off-road use is quality of the build and weight of components.

Eg. I've seen so called 'off road' models that only have 50x50 draw bar and coupling welded to a flat steel plate welded to the bar.

Gday Drew
Google 'Outback campers" in Carrum Downs. I have had one for 9 years and not had a problem .
