looking at getting a single deep drawer in the rear of my GQ.
Trektech is a local company here in Adelaide who do custom drawers (steel and plywood combination). Anyone have any experiences with the company?
Opinions on plywood for drawers (heavier, lighter, avoid water etc??).

Thanks,

I used Paul's drawers in my GU and went everywhere under every possible condition and was not careful with them.
I never once had my attention drawn to them for any issues.
They never used to roll very good like my outback ones but that is a pain in the rrrse when parked on a hill and you want the drawer to stay open...
Pauls drawers are good..(for the money)...

Paul's stuff is usually ½ price-ish.
He also, or at least he used to do a changeover of $300 for anyone who already has his drawers and want to put them into another type of 4x4...
Pretty good really....

Paul made some drawers for our X-trail earlier in the year - did 12000km up to Cairns and back from Adelaide. Performed really well.
He also built a cage to go around the fridge to ensure air gets in and away. Also put a sliding table under one drawer - it extends out if the drawer is closed or if fully open - great for road side stops and also in camp.
Only Best from Vic was prepared to look at an x-trail, Paul custom made it for us - far cheaper than other similar well known brands.

He also has a tilting fridge extension so that you can pull out the fridge/freezer and be able to see into it without the need of a step (for short folk!)

Good value, very approachable and good quality
