Top marks for a fantastic video - it even blew up to full screen without distorting, we loved it. The music was perfect - that song is an old favorite of mine. Thanks so much for sharing. Now if only we could get a drop of that water over here in Geraldton!

I really enjoyed that, the official paid for forecast last week for new year's eve was for 200mm of rain for Brisbane, I think we're a bit lucky the cyclone went west and dispersed rather than south here.

Glad you enjoyed it, took a few hours the other night to put together.

On monday im heading west to Meandarra but i think Dalby will still cut off.
Might have to make detour through Goondiwindi to get around the floodwater.

Thanks Kev that will be great. Was thinking how the seasons change, this time last year cattle were dieing.
What a contrast drought to flood and every thing in between.

Dave,

The Moonie is to be reviewed today as per below.

MOONIE - MOONIE HIGHWAY

The Moonie Hwy (Moonie to Dalby) is CLOSED to all vehicles due to flooding at Myall Ck and multiple other locations.
Motorists are urged not to enter floodwaters.
Updated 31/12 10.30am next review 02/01/2011

Will let you know when it is updated. They will possibly open it at 12pm going by yesterday as they have been trying to get the road crews out to repair as many of the large potholes before opening it.

Cheers Kev

Dave,

There is some that will swallow your Hilux and still ask for more LOL

There is a heap of road damage out here so take it easy along the main roads as well as along the already crap back roads.

The want me to go to Tara on Thursday for work but I think I will stay local instead as I don't want to play on the back roads for a few more weeks till they dry out ;)

Cheers Kev

I think this spillway is the one to watch over the next few months. The Burdekin Dam spillway is 500m wide! It is currently going over by 3.3m (considered minor) and we haven't even got to our wettest months of Feb and March yet!

It isn't my video but if someone could get one later this year I'd love to see it.
