Is anybody able to shed any light on the purpose of the thousands of pink plastic markers that are evenly spaced along the Colson Track ??

G'day, Stevo.
I heard a rumor that Lindsay is moving from the Pink Roadhouse, maybe heading that way and run out of pink paint can lids.
Just a rumor !

Sounds like they are getting ready to do a seismic survey along there.
I was on a crew in that area in the mid 80's.

cheers, sparra

Agree with you sparra as there was a large seismic crew set up west of Mac Clark Conservation Reserve heading that way when we went through in August. Amazed me though as I remember the seismic crews used to only have a dozer towing a trailer and caravan, which only pushed a single shot line through. This camp looked like a small city with roads pushed through everywhere to allow the support crew of trucks and vehicles to get through.

mazcan, if it is was, I would have been just as amazed, as I have worked on explorator rigs before and we never had a setup anything like that lol, surely drilling crews have not gone that soft..

Don't use those as skewers for kebabs, all the aluminum leaks into the meat :))

Looking for adventure.
