My 60 lt Waeco is 4 years old and not had any problems but when turned on today the temp reading was 44 on 240 volt or car ,the unit does not cycle off at all ,any help would be appreciated. But I dont want a debate over different brands as this is what I have to work with at the moment.
Thanks Vic

I had the same problem mine is about the same age, its to do with a control they just through in there on those early models that get shaken around,it sinse has been more seculely installed. dont ask me the techincal stuff on it, its what the refridge mechanic told me. they simply replaced it and all has been good,

G'day Vic, I have a 12 month old CF18 that I use as a freezer and I used it as a drinks fridge over the Christmas period running of the 240v. Everything was fine and the beer oh so cold then it just gave up the ghost. Saw the error light on like you get when you have a near flat battery, checked all the connections and then it died.
Took it to my local agent and they checked it out and found that it had shorted out. Pretty odd, but luckily for me it's still under warrenty.
Maybe your's has done likewise?

Dunan and Mick
thanks for the replys,I have contacted a few local agents and all said it will be the thermister or the control panel and were all about the same price of either $120 or $180.
