Hi guys
We bought a second hand jayco designer pop top a couple months ago and one of the struts (front) is not working as it should (the canvas is sloppy on that corner and the strut has more play in expanded mode than the other three.) So there is no writing on the struts to determine the specs of them. I was wondering how to determine what struts to buy or if someone knows the correct size etc. Ive located some on ebay that look about the same size but no point in guessing. If anyone has any info that would be great.
regrds

Yep, + 1 To that, a Jayco agent will advise you the correct strut to replace with. Other option is to remove it & take it to some place that sells them & see what they advise.
We had a faulty one on our Jayco Pop Top a while back & we purchased replacement units from a caravan repairer as it was cheaper, He advised that we should not mix new with old as it was important that all four struts be able to apply equal pressure, so rather than just replace the crook one, "bite the bullet" & replace all four. Seemed to me make sense so we did.
Good luck & safe travelling.
