Hi Guys, my 09 Navara D22 is due for a service. I have only ever taken it back to the dealer to service. What are peoples opinion about non-dealer mechanics servicing cars under warranty? Are they able to plug in to the ECU and read faults? When I start my car, it displays the # of kms before my next service, can anyone else other than the dealer reset this counter? Obviously thats not important but I am trying to see pro's and con's.
Last year we had a new place open up called Macedon 4x4 in Woodend. Its conveniently located. Has anyone heard or had any experience with these guys?

Its been my experience that the best mechanics at any dealer ship leave and go into business for themselves.
Cheers Pete
