I am intending to take a friend up to
Niagara dam in a couple of days and noticed from some of the google earth photos there was one of
Hanging Rock near
kookynie. Has anyone heard of it and where?
Thanks in advance
Ian

There is a Split
Rock near
Kookynie
When we were there we asked a local how to get there and he told us incorrect instructions so dont ask him LOL
We still havent seen it as we ended away up a track in the wrong direction and it was too late in the day to go back

Have a look on this map as its in the area we were in but took a track we were told of but perhaps should have gone further before we turned.

So how far away is Split
Rock cos the track we were told to go up where we
found these ones sort of faded out and we were reluctant to go further as it
was late in the day then.
Thanks

Hi Ian
Go to the pub and they have maps on the bar showing 5 lots of rocks you can go to and they are all within 7kms of pub and you won't need 4x4.
