Is there a site that shows where the flood water will go & how it will effect the Murray river or Birdville track?

it also depends on what flood water you are talking about, the water around St. George will go that way, but obviously all the water effecting Rocky and now current flooding around Gympie and Maryborough wil what hit Bundaberg will go to the ocean.

Once again us Queenslanders are giving NSW, VIC and SA our valuable water. If you are lucky You may also get some Cane toads thrown in as well. See how us Queenslanders like too share our resources, no questions asked. Cheers Mick

Excuse me for being cynical.
Do we (the donaters), have a bonafide promise that this money and there will be a lot goes to the deserving people suffering from this catastophic flood OR will it go into government coffers ?

I remember the $30 odd Millions the were donated to the Victorian Bush Fire Relief Fund. Was handed over the the Red Cross to administer. It should be the same for the Queensland Flood Relief Fund.

If the funds go to the Sallies not a penny will be wasted.

Good question. I only heard recently that a lot of the money raised for the Newcastle Earthquake victims still sits in the Newcastle Council bank account. Don't give it to Government.

Advice is that it is/will be administered by the Red Cross, so no problems with that from me.

$247,750 allocated from the Victorian Bushfire Reconstruction and Recovery Authority was used to make a walking and bike path called the "Say G'day trail." Thats not where I intended my money to go! That was just by one council. Hate to think how others wasted there allotted money.

After seeing the devastation to the Infrastructure in towns affected by the floods. I wonder how much money will go to the people that we intended it to go to and how much will just disappear in administration. We all pay out for the infrastructure through our taxes. We trying to help the people that suffering from an act of God.

hello cuffs
Sorry to hijack your thread but it seems like I, there are more of us that are more concerned as to where their donations go to.
