I am considering installing a chip to Ranger. Seeking comments from anyone who has done same. The good and the bad?

Check with your insurance company. My insurer Alliance cancelled my insurance policy when I made the "chip" disclosure. this was demed as a performance modification and so they were no longer interested in insuring it. GIO insurance charged a extra $30 on the premium and added a extra $100 to my excess for once I disclosed I had a chip.

I chipped my 7.3l Ford. Only good news over the three years I've had it.

Get a copy of the Australian 4wd Action mag issue 152, it has a great right up of several chips and the test was done on the PK Ranger.
