Got to agree with Graham. I never ever drive after dusk, as by then I want to be set up in
camp, watching another Oz sunset.
Unless you need to drive in the dark, and other than emergencies I can't see why travellers with van/camper in tow need to, then don't, for many reasons.
I have replaced my
driving lights with fog lights. I reckon they will get more use in adverse weather driving, than the flame throwers which I hardly ever used, or needed to use. Most just become an expensive ornament.
Mind you, there are plenty of you working on the land, who require a good set of
driving lights, including truckies, that need to ply their trade during the hours of darkness.
