I was down that way over New Year and the roads that you want to travel are normally good.

I would however check what effect the recent rain has on the roads.

We were there 2 weeks ago. The route you are looking at is mostly a main dirt 2wd road suitable for towing small campers. The track into McKillops Bridge is single lane in a few spots but still 2wd. Lots of dust, potholes & sharp corners.
Take care. We had a car in our group miss a corner & roll on the Barry Way.

Went along that about 8 days ago,it was ok for a dirt road...Just keep a look out for people that use all the road and get into a trance while they are speeding ..

Then when they finally wake up and there hand and legs go flying everywhere to try and avoid you..

Just take it slowly and you'll be ok...

Did it last week 3/1 to 7/1. All good. Roads good. Beautiful and greeen.
