The 12Volt shop in Perth have one on the front page of their website

http://www.12volt.com.au/

down towards the bottom in purple. You'll have to add the engel plugs/sockets

I've been using one of those for years to run my Autofridge in eutectic mode, 2 hrs in early morning and 2 hrs in the evening. It is never turned off, sits in the shed in the vehicle 24/7 operating on the time clock.

Like Peter, I have one of these in my car to run my eutectic fridge and it works a treat. The only downside of the device is that it introduces a number of extra connectors and electronic devices into your fridge circuit which WILL cause voltage drop.

I have tested my setup which uses very heavy cable, properly soldered connectors and is generally wired to reduce voltage drop.

Without the timer in the circuit I get 0.2v drop from the battery to the fridge...quite acceptable under load and with the timer, I get 0.5v drop...less acceptable however.

As said it does work and I use it regularly, but bear in mind the offsets.

Cheers,

Mark
