If anyone is interested the Spam filter on Bigpond blocked the Newsletter. If you use Bigpond and are using their spam filter you will find it in the Spam folder. I think I will be giving Bigpnd the flick after this debacle as I only use it for email as it is a constant email address and I use various other ISP's for surfing.

Well I'm with iPrimus, and so far their webmail and receive mail has been down for 12 hours, so I haven't seen the newsletter yet anyway. Phone calls are un helpful, info on the iPrimus webpage is unhelpful...so who is the best web carrier?Just Do It!

Glenn that's how Bigpond's problems started their mail servers went down or as they say they ran very slow. I believe the problem is dictionary or other type of attacks on mail servers and the mail servers cannot cope with all the traffic as a lot of it goes to names the program guesses.
Standby for a flood of spam mail.
I have no idea which is the best ISP but I am not happy with Bigpond as I have been very careful where my bigpond Email address is. For all the other newsgroups except this one I use a free email address as It doesn't matter if I end up with spam mail I just leave that one and open another one, I have only had to walk away from one free email address in 5 years due to spam.
When I registered with this site I enquired as the the security of my Email address and was assure it was safe. I know spam hasn't come from here it has come from some very clever computer programmer's with nothing to do.

Optus Cable, only fails if lines are wacked, in 3 years only 2 days lost due to storms bringing down cables.Regards Bob
