My brother sent some photos of events down around Cape Arid,WA recently. Looks like 200 series reign supreme down there. His is the one with the Baroma in tow.

Most problems with 4wds getting bogged is the drivers, lack of judgement re: gear selection and tyre pressure and lack of experience.

Hmmm just wondering if towing a heavy van would you have less, or more, or the same tyre pressure in the rear tyres compared to the front.
Robin that looks like a P76 to me!
Cheers

I think most P76's would be rusted out by now lol, I certainly wouldn't take one near a beach.
Cheers Dave.

Roughie - the boots too long in relation to its height to be a P76

if im not mistaken that
pic is taken at the end of the
thomas river track heading from the campgrounds and along the river too
the beach
yes that area is hard packed and i have been on it in a 2wd but it rapidly gets softer as you head east. If tides are high sand can be very soft and there are also
shell beds which as I found can almost swallow a 4by running tol high a pressure
6 years later i can still get
shell grit out of my chasis, tore my rear pinion seal straight out
and for the record i was pulled out by a nissan

It was defiantly a Magna. The red pin striping gives it away.

Robin
Will not brag about the mighty Patrol, till after we get back from
Cape York in early Sep, and hopefully not get bogged once.
Cant wait to yank a cruiser out of the mud though
Cheers

Nothing special about pulling a cruiser out the mud.
I pulled a cruiser out a salt pan near Davenport creek once with me LJ 50 Suzuki and I didn't even get a Beer for it, should have left him there.
Cheers
