Hi everyone,

Today I am planning to install a major update to the user database. This update effects all visitors, members and customers. On the plus side the update means that all logins are handled by your email address and password. So there is no need to remember your member numbers to login to the system. Just entering your email and password is all that is needed and the system will determine you level.

I am hoping to automatically update your auto login cookies when you visit the site so you should not even have to login again after the update.

I do expect that there could be a few issues moving forward so please let me know if things are not working for you so that I can get the issues resolved. Of course one of the tasks we must do is update all our email templates and site tips to reflect the changes so if you get any of these emails and they say the wrong things please let us know as we may have missed something.

I am crossing my fingers that all goes to plan but I am a realist and in the past I have not had that many go without incident but let's hope I get this one right.

David

PS: I expect to be looking to install the updates in the next few hours, I have some more processes to update before I can start.

OK, so I'm an idiot, but I can't find the site address to log in. I think I've been all over the site and found HEAPS about joining and member benefits but cannot stumble over the log in page or icon. HELP!!!

Mick,
You must already be logged in as you have replied to this thread and forum usage requires that you are logged in.
PS I have not installed the updates yet the job has gotten bigger and will be done during the week.

David,

Not sure if you have activated anything yet, but this is an error message I receive when trying to go to the members MyHome page from the link at the top right.

Hope this of some use to you.

Regards

Wozzie
