Hi all

I have a 2004 GLS Pajero 3.2 TD with the standard 2.5 T towing capacity. Is there any way of having this increased to say 2.8 T and if so where and how ?? The extra being sought to tow a caravan.

regards

Trade it in on a Patrol, Land Cruiser, Land Rover, Jeep or NT Pajero.

About the only way really.

If the current model has a greater towing capacity, what is the difference between your model and the latest, if this can be found out, I would discuss the upgrade with an appropriate engineer.

But it could be costly, say $3K for the engineer $XK for the parts and labour. Another vehicle is probably a better option.

I am pretty sure the latest Pajero's have bigger brakes.
