To those who are interested - I have a short blog on the original Crocodile that was mounted in
Normanton.
It was a community project started by Don Macintosh and the brainchild of Annette Bristow-Stagg.

This is a life size model of a 28'4" salt-
water crocodile with a girth of 13' situated in the LEW Henry
Park behind the Council Chambers. Krystina Pawloski, a famous Crocodile Hunter in the Gulf region, shot the actual crocodile that "Krys" is modelled on.

just out of "interest" for those looking at this ....
Karumba has been cut off by flood waters for days now and the road from
Normanton to Croyden was closed this morning as
well, been heaps of rain up here ...... but that is normal for up here, not for the poor guys down south ....
