I've decided to have a go at a big paddlehttp://www.saletosea.com.au/

Physically my disability is just age, but some of the participants are amputees or otherwise challenged.

Hmmm although I do have a major problem with sea sickness.... and maybe fitness.

Anyway.... I thought some of you might like to know about this interesting event 130ks over four days.

Good on you Royce, nothing like setting yourself a challenge! And a nice part of Australia to explore to any case. Are you a paddler? With 32km a day to cover that's a major feat if you're worried about your fitness ... but even Ironman training programmes are just 15 weeks... you've got 50 weeks!!! So, do a training blog and let us know how you tackle it! Good luck.

Thanks Royce.
Hope he has a tail wind and Lake Wellington is not too lumpy.

Hi Royce
You will have a ball and what a great way of seeing the world going by. I only get time to paddle at Easter on the Murray and have a ball. I have a GPS fitted to the kayak and you would be surprised at how many kilometres we paddle.

All the very best with the paddle.

Cheers

Stephen
