Have googled and ebayed to no avail............maybe my terminology is wrong !
All I want is to purchase a simple buzzer and wiring loom that will warn me when the lights are left on when I turn the ignition off
You would think Toyota could have managed that in the 79 series for the price we pay............
can find buzzers as stand alone but wouldnt know
where to start without a wiring diagram
I can find products that buzz if lights left on and door opened..that would drive me mad as there are plenty oif times that would be normal....opening gates on the way
home or simply dropping off a passanger
Can somoene point me in the right direction please for a where to purchase a warning buzzer and loom to self install .......headlights on...ignition off...warning buzzer sounds
thanks

Dickies used to have them before they morphed into another Retra/Harvey/JB store.
Maybe the Jaycar website?

Hi bungarra
My simple method is if the lights are on lock your door. When you can't get out - remember why and turn off the lights.

mate you maybe able to get that stuff off a later model cruiser, like the 80 series, and plug into loom.
give all 4x4 at kotara a ring, explain, and they may even give you a early 100 series one, not sure on price.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I think this question doesn't need a whole new thread. Stan..is it possible to use your set up on a 24 volt GQ Patrol?...if so will what would I need to ask for at Jaycar?...(good company but sometimes the week end staff do not have comprehensive knowledge)
Cheers

Don't bother with JAYCAR on this one,
check the following URL and your
home and hosed.
Narva 24V relay
You are a helpfull piece of work 'BONZARELLI', why didn't you tell him where to get the item's.
Also Stan you can get them at Burson's. If not in stock they will order in from Narva for you.

all you need is a small buzzer , find park light feed (light dimmer ) connect positive to park lights and negative side to an ign feed

Another simple one is to run a wire from the park light feed to one side of a $4 buzzer , take a wire from the other side to your door light switch and when you open the door the buzzer will activate. Works a treat.
