Just want to say thank you to team Kim in there Patrol ( yes forgot her name again lol ) and Andrew in his Hilux . Poor Greg had to struggle home in his Pajero after spinning the rear diff and snapping his rear uni . No problem the mighty Cruiser was there to tow him out . Stuart , I would love to hang sh*t on Kim , but he did very well today . Just got stuck when he had to come and get me . ( dont ask ) .
The funniest was having to winch a GQ out TWICE in the most bothetic bog hole on the planet, we wishes to remane ,anonymous lol . Thanks once again guy's . I wouldn't have to think twice about going away with you again , a great bunch to say the least . Thanks to Oz Explorer for giving us the oportunaty to meet such nice people .Venus Bay

Eric,
Kim's handbrake's name is Sarah. The twins are doing just fine, except that they have a very annoying habbit of sleeping all day and crying all night. I just spoke to Kim on his mobile and all does not sound well in the mighty patrol, they are limping it home as l type this-l told him to buy a cruiser, by the way, don't be shy about all the details of the day because it will all come out soon, and probably a bit exagerated too!!!!

The Pajero limped home with one diff and no rear tail shaft lol , the Lancruiser winched out the GQ out twice . The hero in the cruiser tried to drive into swamp land and got stuck to the door sill , Kim jumped at the chance to come and get me , but he got stuck at the entrance and had to be snached by Andrews Hilux lol . So we opted for a double snach . But some Bannana ( me ) forgot the car in Park lol . Must go to arb for a new snach noe lol . We learnt afew things today , dont buy teflon bushes , I had to come home with no top shocker bush lol , and there only 4 weeks old . Dont cross a creek you havent walked , Dam rock , now I need a wheel alighment , and keep my wrist bandaged for a week . We will have to get the verdict from Kim on the turbo, was playing up on the way home , from what he told me it was kicking in late . Last thought , we need to teach Sarah how to dress for the bush , I though she was going to a night club , Only kidding mate , You were all spot on today , great company Venus Bay

Well thanks to all for a great day, got the patrol home but i think i'll take it to the doctors monday, but i dont think it will be much. Great to meet some great people and put some faces to names. Now about Eric's " Dont ask" ...To be fair it was a big ask to think any 4by would get through, but to Erics credit he tried, did'nt sucseed but you win some and some you dont. Now that would have been fine if that was the end of it, but no, after 20 min. of getting him out then 20 min driving on down the track somone decides that one try was not enogh, so back we go, and what happened on the second try well "dont ask" . Anyway great day, had a ball and looking forward to next time. Thanks agineJust a little puddle we found down in Gembrook

Kim , Rememer the big hole were you got the muddy water on your roof ? well I was thinking about it and I am sure you must have got a gut full in the snorkel . Pull apart the air box and take a look , put a light in the center of the airfilter , if you cant see light throw it out .Venus Bay

Hi guys,

Back home now. Went down a few extra tracks on the way home, found a very rutted out track, think it was Reids track, and had to turn back. Also found a quite steep track, not particularly challenging, but steep!! Was fun looking around.

I had a great day guys. Eric, thanks for the organising, hope the hand/wrist is getting better, and you sort you shocker and alignment problems. Kim and Sarah, thats a great pic in the water, hope the turbo hasn't suffered too much.

Only damage to report: One very bent trailer plug, only Brighton Toyota mount a trailer plug, lower than the tow bar. Oh, I also gathered some more scratches.

If you have any pics or video of me, send it over email is v6lux at swiftdsl dot com dot au. Any size is fine as I have ADSL.

Thanks again
