Now I know I went early with the call of Stanley being the prettiest town in Tassie, but here we are 5 weeks later and it is still winning, and of the 6 c'parks we have stayed in Longford wins hands down, magnificent river side setting with massive trees and open grassy areas and great value

Also a rap for the bar staff and patrons of the "Country Club Hotel" I think it's called, commonly referd to as the Chequerd Flag Hotel in Longford, We Left there friday night after dinner and a few drinks, with a pretty full bar of local "Lads" only to discover the next morning that I couldn't find my wallet, re traced my footsteps back to the pub to find it safely stowed in a locked draw behind the bar with the full $170 left in it the night before........Great Stuff! Found on the floor by someone and handed in!

Cheers........Browny

B&P,

I was thinking on the way to the Pub, this would just top Tassie off if it was there, but to be honest (shamefully) I didn't hold out much hope, as when we left it there were probably 15 to 20 young local blokes, just starting too fire up, and I just thought if I did drop it there, it would've just gone towards there night!

but they showed me!!!
