An early warning to all. I am about 1 hour away from shutting the system down for about 30 mins. During this update I will be converting all user records, this includes all customers and members plus installing completly new user menagement functions. This new user management system will make using the site a whole lot easier, the features and
tools are being developed but we must get the base update completed before we can move forward.
One of the major updates is login - you will now only need your email address and password to login. The system will understand you level (member, customer, visitor) based on your email address.
The update however should automate the login and you will only notice the update by getting a different User Bar at the top of the page (Hopefully). If you experience problems after the update please use the feedback system to report it and the team will be looking at and prioritising these jobs.

Hi David,
In the last couple of days I have again found the problem of trying to open a thread, it opens and then drops you straight back to the
forum after a sec or two. If you open in a new window it doesn't occur.
It was happening a few months ago remember? how did you fix it?

The update has been loaded. Sorry for the delays it took a lot longer to parse the member database.
Now before you email me saying where is everything? We are working on adding everything back. This part of the update was to replace the whole core of the systems user elements which has now been done.
If you see any Compilation errors please email these directly to info@exploroz.com stating the page that you were try to view.
Anything else please use Feedback

The weather linked to the member profile is it supposed to be local weather?
As
mine is showing
Gladstone weather (my previous locality) and my current local one is either
Miles or
Dalby.

Miles and it changed the weather locality to
Miles, so it looks like I have to live with
Miles weather ;)

What do you mean - is it working or not? I must admit that I do not know where you live so I cannot understand place names in this area. I will be adding the ability to move the position the system generates shortly but it is programmed that each time you change the Address or Suburb or State the system will re-decode the position based on updated information.
It determines the closest weather station based on your position.

Miles is my closest Weather Station, it is about 50km to the West of
Chinchilla :)
So it is working as it is supposed to.

I no longer have the little house icon that would take me to the home page. Is there a way to see only updated since last visit threads still?

I am working on this at the moment and the information will be shown in the panel that appears under your name on the user bar but for now you can still go to the page at
http://www.exploroz.com/members/default.aspx
Please do not try to edit your profile in this page it will cause problems. I will be working on these
tools for the next few days and expect to have the information moved over to the user bar by the weekend/early next week.

Thanks for the advice on the feedback page - it is now fixed - wondered why I had not received any.
Last
Logon search is also in progress - Sorry for the delays I just had to get the code installed before it was completely finished as major problems were occurring behind the scenes. I am working almost around the clock to get this updated and will have it sorted in a day or two.

Just letting you know that the trader is not working for me since the upgrade. Unable to look at any of the categories.
Tried to send through on feedback but had trouble getting that to work also.
You may already know this but just incase.
