I'd have thought that's not too bad. We paid just under the dollar when we first drove across in'75.
Haven't stopped smiling!

LPG was 93 cent a litre in Eden just before Christmas. Two hours drive toward Victoria later it was 63 cents a litre.

We weren't impressed as Eden is one of our favourite spots.

NSW South Coast LPG is always a rip off. Near Bermagui last week it was 95cpl while Merimbula was 78 and I got 8 cents off that. That's Capitalism for you. Petrol and LPG get transported the same distance but the mark up on gas is always higher. Now I read that there will be a tax on alternative fuels set at half the petrol GST and likely to be inplemented in December, having been postponed 5 months.... W

Ethanol, E-10 was to be implemented by 1st July in NSW, that now has been adjusted for 1st December 2011 because they (Govt) said not enough E-10 will be produced for the market

Now that the floods has practically wiped out ALL ethanol farms in Qld, I would hazard a guess that the date for distribution will be back-dated again.

Nearly 75% of all service stations in NSW has changed over to E-10 and now must watch the ones who still serve Unleaded with envy, because there won't be enough E-10 to go around

Good-ol Labor NSW, If anything can be stuffed up, we're the party to do it.
