I second that - no option to add "all of the above".

Not going to do a poll that gives skewed answers.

There was one famous question in an Australia census survey that people had to answer by law or face severe fines.

"Have you stopped beating your wife yet?"

Answer yes or no.

A bit of a skewed poll result.

Cheers

David

You really should question NSW Transport in that, when I was re-applying for my bus licence 3 yrs ago, second page at top

Have you stopped drinking? There was no boxes to tick, I don't drink.

Next question, Have you taken steps to quit drinking? I don't drink.

Next question, Does drinking cause any problems whilst driving? No, I don't drink.

Do you take illegal drugs, non-prescription,do these idiots really expect any-one to say, yeh mannn, grass, heroin, coke, ice.

The mind boggles.

I agree, there is no option but to select one and one only. Should be able to select as few or as many as would apply to you. Result very biased otherwise.

If it is a government poll then I would suggest they are after a skewed result that would mean they have already made their decision on the outcome they appear to be researching.

Thanks for that, didn't even notice the poll sitting there on top with the weather/news and other links.
Usualy just go straight to the forum.

Any way didn't vote those questions would have been relevant 30 years ago.

I come straight to the Forum. Polls don't do much. I have no idea what the point was of putting this one up either.

Gday Prado
It's no good doing a poll if all the questions are the answer .

Should have "other" as an option as none of the questions are what I would answer.

Also some of us just go straight to the Forum page and so never see these.

Perhaps have it as a header on the Forum.

have a look left hand side of screen, you will see just below HOME your sign in name, below that FORUM in a row of 6 boxes

POLL is on the RHS, just click it

BTW, I didnt say this was a bood poll, my query was with the high number of people signed into EO compared to number that actually responded to the poll. Perhaps the "standard" of the answers available to be selected is the reason, and something EO should look at before posting up a poll in the future. I always thought a good range of answers included things like "all of the above", "none of the above" "other" etc etc

Anyway maybe i have highlighted a problem for EO to fix and also highlighted where the poll is for those who dont see it. BTW i go straight to the Forum and YES you see the poll button on th eforum page, cheers....

Only being able to choose just one answer out of four when there could be 1000 other responses more important to them, it surprises me as many as 48 people actually responded. What is the point of this poll anyway?
Cheers Craig............

Ya know all this Aussieism bleep s me. I'm a born and bred Australian as were my parents, grand parents and great grand parents. Seems around this time of year someone has an identity crisis and the Aussieism gets played and sold to death. But I gotta hand it to that country to the north of use that makes all those Australian Flags and flogs them back to us.

Pointless Poll I would have to agree

No way I would have noticed it there if it wasn't pointed out :-)

That's the answer to the thread question as well - Why would you bother with those answers?

Cheers Tony
