The weather map at the moment is quite amazing, a little rain it looks lik eover Alice Springs, and guess why> It still looks menacing over Central OZ!

Ya have to admire Mother nature. When she want to do soemthing she does it.

Is it wet where you are Bonz? BOM predictions have Yasi continuing west, and in a few days time joining a low already lurking off the NW coast. Looks like the potential is there for it to re-generate. Windy here in the SW with stronger winds forecast for the next couple of days.

Some bloke said on the TV the other night that Yasi was generating enough energy every two days to provide all the energy needs of the Earth for one year. Makes you realiise just how insignificant us Humans are EH.

If they had dropped the biggest Thermo Nuclear Device ever made into the centre it would have been like a flea biting an elephant.

I'm aghast at the regional scope of this Yasi whirly wind, let alone the power to destruct. It seems to have developed a reach re cloud patterns north of New Guinea, NW into Indonesia and south of New Zealand. Talk about big.

Also breeds mongrels too.....

NT Emergency Services is expecting the Todd River to flow but does not expect it to break its banks.
The prediction comes as good news for Alice Springs businesses who found many of their strategically placed sandbags had been emptied onto footpaths by vandals overnight.
