Motorola 9500 Sat Phone

My Sat Phone will send but will not receive. It just leaves a message that the call has been missed with no ring tone. I expect it is just one of the settings. Would any one know who I can contact who can put me on the right track ?
Cheers

Hi OF

Have you checked the setting for the level of your "incoming call" ring tone?

Possibly your Call Forwarding setup for your Voicemail.
# Check the call forwarding settings:

1. Press Menu key.
2. Scroll down to Call Related Features. Press "OK".
3. Scroll down to Call Forwarding. Press "OK".
4. Scroll down to Unconditional Call Forwarding. Press "OK".
5. Unconditional call forwarding should be Off.

Hi Old Fellow, Among the possibilities for no ring sound is that it is not selected in Ringer Settings Menu or the volume is turned down to minimum.
( Also possible that you have gone totally deaf LOL)

Do you have the User Guide for the phone? If not you can download one here. Be patient, it takes a little time to download.

Thanks Guys After printing out the user manual, all 140 pages and trying your suggestions and many others I finally found out that it was a setting controlled by Telstra and was fixed by dialing **61*101**30# then Call. Easy fixed when you know how!! My phone uses a next G international roam sim card.
Many thanks again

" **61*101**30# then Call "......... of course! Why didn't I think of that?

Good to see someone actually replying that they solved the problem.

Hardly any one does unfortunately
