Dave,
Once camped on Robinson River Crossing approx 100km east of Borroloola. Nice overnight spot right on the water. We camped on the Northern side which was close to the crossing. Southern track went further but was occupied so we did not investigate.

West of Borroloola you have Lorella Springs which was $20.00 day (then). Great spot, 2 nights turned into 6 and still wanted to stay.

Cheers,
Bob

Dave,

Not a large river but a very pretty stretch of water, not sure of croc situation but played with a few native fish on light gear.
Was watching a DVD of the Bush Tucker Man recently and recognised the crossing when he stopped in the middle and opened the door to lean out and fill a mug of water to drink.
Also when your on the Gulf track and see a "Dip" sign you had better believe it, hit one a little too hard and bent the Tow hitch a couple of degrees.

Have a great trip

Bob
