I have fitted one to my 09 Pathfinder 2.5l diesel and I have to say I am very impressed with the results. I have mine set on the 7 setting and it flies. I tow a 21.5m caravan and it has a lot more pulling power, especially noticable on steep hills.
Overall fuel consumption is better if I take it easy.

how much did it cost. thinking of pathy for new car, but read alot about new ti 550 coming out and its beefy 3L, but $75000. If the dp chip makes that much difference older model would be cheaper option

I actually bought it 2nd hand for $200 from a bloke who was selling his Pathy. New I think they are around the $1000 mark but don't quote me. Could be cheaper.

I have had a DP chip on my Landcrusier 100 series for about 4 years and would recommend. Better torque, so great for towing. Also better fuel economy if driven sensibly

We have them DPChips fitted to the Rodeo and Margo's Peugeot no problems and well worth doing as far as we are concerned.

Hello Cajun,
I have a 2010 D40 2.5 and recently installed Steinbauer chip. Haven't got our new van to try it but am more than impressed with extra power. Furthermore it is much smoother to drive - it has made the auto perform more like a car than a diesel 4x4 d/cab. In my opinion worth the dollars.
