Afternoon all, the front end of my 03 auto patrol seems loose. Another way of explaining it is it feels like the front floats sometimes and although I do feel like I have got control of the vehicle it just seems to move around a bit. Any thoughts as to what it is as well as any recommendations of who to take it too would be appreciated. I am in Huntingdale WA.

HI there , you may need to add a little detail - stock standard Patrol , or 2 inch lift ? bigger tires ? different shocks ? mods ????

Happened suddenly or after some recent work ? or a progressive feel ?

forgot to add ! used as a 4bie ? ie some good low range work - or a soccer mums car that may occasionally mount a gutter and negotiates the speed humps at woolworths? ( as far as of road goes ) heavy towing ?

Hi Begaboy, I have only recently noticed it. Went to Pinjarra yesterday and again to York today, normally city driving during the week. I do have a 2 " lift old man emu shocks and Cooper atr tyres. I have done 90000km on the tyres but still have some tread left about another 10000km in them I reckon, but I did think maybe this could be part of the problem. Last big trip was Karijini and Mt Augustus in June last year towing my van. Hope this helps.

I have used them a fair bit for parts and advise have been brilliant I have not used them for repairs as i am a diesel mechanic so I do all my own always found them to be helpful and not just wanting to sell their products
