As we are planning the trip around oz as per last post, I have read abit about people fitting a DP Chip to there 4wd. Would anyone recommend fitting one to the 70 series turbo V8 landcruiser towing a Kedron top ender? What are the benefits of having one installed? I believe they come at a cost but was wondering how long before it would pay for it's self? Cheers!

John,

have a look at this thread from a few days ago. As to theb savings, you'd ahve to first know just what your current consumption figures are under all conditions.

I think the key to the chips is not so much the fuel savings but the increase in power and torque that make towing a more enjoyable experience.
