Unfortunately you are wrong Muz.
Matt the Hotham road is all sealed but steep in a few
places. From the Mt St Bernard turnoff the road soon turns to dirt & is narrow for about 5km before opening up to a wide high speed run accross the High Plains. At the other end the seal has been extended to around Mt Ewan now for the steep drop into
Dargo. The unsealed section is subject to seasonal closure over winter due to snow.
The trip may take around 2 hours & is fine even for road going campers & smaller vans with care.
Cheers Craig..........

Dargo residents have been promised the road will eventually be sealed but they have only done about 10% in 10 years. At this rate I don't expect to see it completed :-)

Has been a bit wet up this way so take care on the gravel bits and you will be fine.
