Where are the photos?

have you taken into consideration that there are a huge number of people
from one side of aus to the other suffering personel crisis
due to several severe weather events -cyclones/ floods and fires etc and this could be having an effect on it
they no doubt will deal with the competition
when they have got their lives back in order

I put in a couple of photos in the blog section is this the right place for the comp .
I had trouble with them so I deleted them.,I will try again if it is the right place.

Hi Dave. A lot of us mainly look at the forum so consquently miss out on other bit and pieces. ( I have been on here tonight for nearly an hour and only got down to your post so far) I think it has been said in the past if a "note" or link was put on the forum a few more of us might "divert" over and at least have a look at what ever was showing. I honestly did not know there was a photo comp. so please excuse my oversight. Cheers, Bob.

Having the Blogs is a bit like having 2 Forums. As others have said, I too look at the Forum all the time, and only occasionally think of the blogs.

Re the photo comp, I wonder if a natural photo will win or a 'work of art' that has been manipulated on the computer?

A large proportion of EO users are visitors so unfortunately they don't have the ability to contribute to the photo comp. Possibly when the majority of members look at the handful of top end shots already on display they don't think their average photo's to be worthy.
If they really want lots of good photo's possibly next time open it up for everyone & offer a real prize.
