Michael,

Go up to the address bar at the top of the page and simply copy the whole address, then paste it into your email. Your friend will then need to copy that address and paste it into a window and it should work.

There may well be a more sophisticated way of doing it, but that method should get the result you want.

Cheers,

If you are using Thunderbird for your emails, when you copy and paste a URL (web address) into the message, it converts it to a link, Your friend can then just click on that link.

If you wish to check your link, do the following:
. When you have typed the URL in, Click on the save button
. Go to the Drafts folder and click on your saved message
. lick on your link and see if it opens properly in your browser.

If the link opens properly then you have copied it properly.

If the link is a very long one, you can go to Insert > Link and you will get a box where you can insert a title and your very long URL. This way, your link will only be a few words long.

Hi Micheal. The easier way if you are using windows is open the thread, click on "file" go down to "send to" click on "link by email" and it will open an email window ready for you to put the recipients address into. Add your message if you want and click send. You can click the "page by email" and it will send the page instead of the link too. regards,Bob

IF using windows.

Click your right mouse button, and the options to "Send link...." should come up.

When you click on that it should bring in your email program, where all you have to do is insert the email address to whom you wish to send it.
