It was last June - like a highway. Had just been tidied up after floods. Might depend upon conditions, how long since rain, grader etc.

cheers

Define make and model of your OFFROAD van may help with an answer.

Some are sus on a muddy gravel road.

Some will go almost anywhere in comparison

G'day Graham, it's a coromal magnum 547s-xc. i have already been to cape arid israelite bay in WA and it handled that trip easily. NB. i did the strzeleckie track in 2003 with 4wd only.

If its dry its absolutly no probelm if its wet, its closed so again no problem.

But it is an inland highway.

An easy run up the track.

Take your time, let your tyres down a little, say to 25 psi and just cruise in, 60 - 80 km/hr

If it's wet, the road is closed.
After the wet it's a bit soft, in patches, but driveable

Cheers

HI Billy,
Did the run up the Stezlecki last July/August and it was fine. They had a bit of rain before we went up & there were a few slightly we patches but nothing that our Jeep & Supreme Getaway couldn't handle. In fact parts of the southern end of the track are bitumen so that was a surprise. As time goes on it wil all be sealed I suppose. You'll have no issues at all as it's a really good road and as others have already stated it it's raining then it'll be closed so then you'll need "plan B". Plenty of good camps up along the Cooper.
Enjoy the trip.
