There is a new caravan park opening on Mabel Downs Station at the start of the road into the NP

Would be nice if they took small dogs, then travellers with dogs, and there are plenty, could mind each others dogs while each explores the Bungles.
Had to drive past last time, bit of a pity.
The funny thing was that the caravan park in Halls Creek asked for a dog bond !!!! Looking at the state of their park then, two years ago, I was more concerned that the dog may catch something from the park !!! LOL

i think that free camping is not allowed within 25km of a caravan park.
i spoke to someone at Halls Creek visitors centre they said there is going to be Daily tours from the caravan park to the bungles in a 4wd bus www.bunglebungleexpeditions.com.au
also helicopter flights. also spoke to someone else and dogs will be allowed on a lead
