Hi
We've got a 2005 Honda CRV with dealer fitted towbar, along with rough road Cavalier camper.
Whilst we've had no actual problems towing, the towball is a few inches lower than the trailer in a horizontal position and so the trailer tips forward slightly.
I've read that there are methods that can raise the towball, has anyone had any experience or can offer suggestions?
Thanks
Aidan

Depending on your type of towbar you can buy tongues that give you different heights.
Look on the Hayman Reese website.

Some towbars only require the tongue to be turned over to reach the necessary
level.

Then you need to buy one with more offset!

The Hayman Reese website has the "Interlock Trailer Ball Mount with adjustable 5 holeand Towball". However, it shows it as adjusting downwards. Silly question, but can it be reversed so that it go raise the height?

Not a silly Q: Yes you just need to put the ball on the other side.
I have been looking for same thing as I have just had a 2" lift. I spoke to a few trailer
places and ARB ( ARB was the cheapest for me).

The other alternative is to go to a 4wd store,
EG. Opposite Lock, ARB, TJM etc.
Or
To a caravan supplier.
And ask them for a goose neck that is a little longer than yours.
You will have to do this in person.
Just make sure you actually know the length of the goose neck you require.
Or
Rock up with camper attached.
