I have an off road hard floor camper and I noticed a small section of mould about 1ft square on the canvas door. I'd like to know what is the best way to remove.
Thanks in advance

Hi Greg,

Have a look at this archived thread here and in particular the linked thread within it. there is a lot of good info there to help you with your problem.

Spray it with a 90% to 10% white vinegar & water mixture.

That will clean the surface but not kill the spores.

As stated above Clove oil and let the spores die & then brush off.

Don not use vinegar with clove oil, it reds the clove oil inactive.

Sorry to disagree right back :-) From much experience....

Mould is a very big problem here at 820mtrs in the drizzle

Vinegar does not work :-)

Oil of cloves does

Another vote for the oil of cloves mix. Does not have to be strong, use as directed in earlier thread. Other things might fix discolouration but the mould will return unless the spores are killed first.

Whatever! There is more reference to vinegar killing mould than there is to oil of cloves. I am not disputing whether it works or not, I am just saying that vinegar does too. Did you bother to check?

Another vote for vinegar & water, proven from sad experience as the only thing to do the job on advice of a professional hazardous material cleanerupperer. (not sure of his title). Not to say cloves don't work, I have just never heard of it.
