Hi all,
I would like to buy right angled plugs for my HF 9350 antenna. This would help tidy it up and provide less stress on the cables. One cable is the control cable (5 wire), and the other the antenna co-ax. Would appreciate any leads, thank you.

Nev,
The coaxial cable connector is simply an SO239 (?) from memory with a PL259 plug on the end of the coax. A right angle connector is easily available from most good communications shops.
The 9350 control cable connector, both male and female and made by
Amphenol . Their website has a number of catalogues to download and they're in their somewhere.
I'm not too sure whether you will get a right angled connector for this plug, but it's worth a look.
What I did was to rotate the antenna in a particular direction to 'protect' these cable and connectors and after many years of use have had no trouble with them. I do however use a liberal amount of self amalgamating tape to waterproof these connectors and I also feel this helps with the 'strength'.
All the best....
Cheers,
Mark
