G'day all,

Apart from "Dep't of Interior" is there anyone else that makes a good centre floor console for a VDJ79 Landcruiser cab/chassis? While their consoles look good (although fairly pricey), it would be good to have a choice. Can't seem to find any alternatives anywhere - if anyone knows of any, that would be much appreciated.

Hi Gerry, Whilst not answering your question, I have the "dept of interior" rear drawers in the troopy and the quality is very good. Price wise in the ball park with other suppliers.

when I had my 79 series trayback I installed a two-piece centre console from Dept of Interior.

I loved it. It was so much better than the original.

If you buy the same make sure you ask for the centre console with the flat angled front end facing the gear stick so that it butts up against the section that wraps around the gear stick.

The picture explains what I'm gibbering about.

I'm glad I ain't too scared to be lazy
