Muzbry,
$10 tarp
10min to put it on and remove after crossing or
$10,000 for new motor and recovery

I put the fan into the radiator of my 100 series in water that was just above my knees. I had a water crossing bra but did not put it on because I did not think the water was deep enough to cause any problems. It cost me $1340 for a new fan and radiator.
Apparently the 100 series has a fan which runs very close to the radiator core. I have since changed my fan for an 80 series fan which does not run as close to the radiator core.
I have a Michelle's Sacs Water Crossing Bra. which is very fast and easy to put on and off. I only wish that I had used it.

We have an MSA one as
well. We have used it several times throughout Australia. 10 seconds to put it on and take of and when its finished with it folds op nicely into a bag and doesn't wet anything else. Have been known to use it in the Vic hills as
well.
Well worth it. It stays in the car apart from the usual cleaning and drying and then straight back into the car.

Probably a safer option to send Wes through first, Muz:-)

Gday George
What a good suggestion . I suppose I could borrow one . There has to be someone out there that will lend one to me. I was led to believe by my wife that I was an honest and reliable person.
