Hi Uteshed

The GSR is a great road with lots to see. If you have not been to Coober Pedy before, there are some great places to check out, some close, some not so close, eg The Painted Desert, not so close, with the Breakaways are very close and not to be missed.

If you are after a short cut in distance, but good on scenery, when you get to Glendambo, head down through the Gawler Ranges and come out at Wirrulla.

There is lots to see the whole way and you should have a great trip.

Cheers

Stephen

Cheers Stephen.
Have been told by a mate to check out the Gawler Rangers and to check out Mt Ive. haven't had a chance to check it out as of yet.
