I am trying to compare caravans and have narrowed it down to something like a Off-road Jayco 16.49-2 pop top for 3 kids the wife and I.
Without starting a fight I would like do a comparison on other manufacturers to see what models are available.
Some general feedback from owners would be great.

Thanks in advance Michael

I will head down to the Illawarra Show on the weekend and check a few out

Coromal Silouette. Off road has a extend out kitchen for a tad more room. I nearly bought one.

Hi Michael, Owned a coromal silouette for 4 years, was OK. Have had one trip in our new jayco 16.49-1 on-road. If first impressions count, both my wife and I believe we have made the correct choice with our new jayco pop top expanda. The whole experience from dealer to our first trip has been a step up. I think the secret is what ever you choose, use it and enjoy it.
Enjoy your life nothing else matters.

Our camping requirements are forever changing and I am about to set up a car trailer for carrying Quad bikes and turbo tents for overnighters/weekenders but would prefer something with a little more comfort and less set up on our longer stays.
"Use it and enjoy it"
Thats pretty much how I'm thinking at the moment, pitty I have to work so many hours just to get away for a few days.

Cheers Michael

Goldstream, Pakenham, Vic.
They are more expensive but if you want off road then you possibly get what you pay for.
Plenty of reviews to back that up and their website is pretty informative too.

Good luck

I'll back Steve up on that. I looked very closely at the Jayco and the Goldstream slide outs in particular. The Goldstream are a cut above. You do pay for that but believe me, when you hit the first corrugated road you'll be thankful you paids that little buit more. The level and quality of fitout is much better in the Goldstream.

Cheers Mick

I ended up buying a Windsor Rapid, they seem to be the most exspencive out of the expanding types. But theres also Paramount Duet a very similar unit.

Cheers.
