I noticed from a 2010
forum that there seems to be a wide range in the quality of knowledge, service and customer support provided by both TJM and ARB, depending on the store. If this is the case, I'd be interested in opinions based on experience, about the level of knowledge and service of the ARB
Richmond (Vic) and TJM Coburg (Vic) stores respectively.
Thanks Poitr

Poitr,
have a read of this blog. About halfway down, after the electrics section under the heading "Getting bleep done - The frustrations of the build"
Ute Build Blog
Fairly typical of the service levels once something becomes difficult. Nice guys working at the stores and always keen to offer advice and sell you something. The minute one of the product stuffs up, you'll have some issues. The blog related to Coburg. I've had issues at Kilsyth over the Longranger fuel tank leaking (you should be able to find info about that on the
forum also).
Have had work and done at TJM Coburg and have no complaints.
Having said that, I've gotten good prices on products from ARB and would buy their bar work etc, just their after sales service that leaves me, and many others, cold!

I've had a fair amount of work done by ARB at
Richmond over the past six or seven years.
Now just to add complete confusion to the
feedback you've already received on this thread...
...I found that they often stuffed up the installation of a piece of kit, but their recovery of the situation, and the customer, was brilliant.
Good luck!
