Has anyone taken a caravan from
Grafton to the Bruxner Highway via Coaldale and Alice recently? How is the road and are there any
good camp spots? We are thinking of travelling this month. Thankyou
Lynne and
John

Hi Lynne and
John,
We have towed that road befoore but not since the floods. You can
camp beside the river at Alice, and at Crooked Creek. You can go further in than just at the first
camping area at Crooked Creek you go down to the Pony club grounds. There is some nice camping around
Tenterfield If you have a 4x4 go for a drive to
Swamp baskest falls drive down to the top of the falls amazing!!!

Thanks for that Barbara. A great photo even sideways! The area sounds lovely and the Tourist Info people have no word of serious flood damage so we are off. Lynne.
