Before you say do a google search, I have done that. What I am after is a recommendation from those using this site for a Blog Site that I can post details of the demolition of our house and progress during the rebuild.
Need to be able to include photos on it.
Needs to be accessible to those I invite, but they do not need to have an account.
Also allow them to add comments and interact with me and others who get involved.
Appreciate any constructive input.
Thanks in anticipation.

Russ,
Blogs on here cover all but one of your requirements. They need to be a registered user of the site to add comments to a blog created.
Cheers Kev

Kev, you have the option of allowing comments by registered users, or both registered users and visitors. Michelle explained to me that this was done for the purpose of people who wanted their family to access eg a travel blog. But as it read it, Prickle only want to have those he permits see the blog - i think here it is open slather.
Prickle, do another Google search for Free
Blogs and you will find there are many options.

Hi Prickle,
this forum/blog site will do all you want.
It is called Homeone, it has a wealth of information for a builder, even has some doing as you are, demolishing to rebuild.
Cheers Neil

Yes Neil, I had a quick look and will get back to have a better look when I have time.
On first look though it does not seem to provide me with my own space where I can post pics, have a bit of a
forum with friends etc with the access to those who I give it too.
Correct me if I am wrong.

OK Russ, I wasn't aware from your first post that you wanted it to be private, as in invite only.
Have a look at

Hello Russ,
Do you have a url for your own web space provided by your Internet Service Provider as part of your access and email? Many use this for the purpose you describe, and you have full control. There are many
tools that make building your own page easy.
Good luck in your endeavour.

Thanks, have not thought of this. Also not smart knowledgeable to set up my own web page, but if the
tools are there, could be an option.
Thanks again.

The private bit is not necessarily essential, but a consdieration.
Had a quick look at yours and will come back to it.
Thanks.

We use Webs.com I think it will do all you need. You can veiw our site to see if it is what you want at www.kidsandall.webs.com. It is free to a certain level of storage then you buy extra storage. Works
well and was a good way keep people informed. Ours is public but you can make it private as
well.

Thanks to all who responded.
Will probably; use web space with my provider and have a work mate who is a computer geek who is chacing up some soft ware that can be attached and will allow a
forum type setup.
Appreciate your input.
